Three construction firms and four consultancy firms have been selected to carry out the project. UAE-based Intermass will lead construction for phases 1, 3 and 4, while Pivot Engineering & General Contracting will oversee phase 2. Both companies have previously completed phases within the first Masaar masterplan. Full completion of Masaar 2 is expected by June 2028.
Darwish Engineering Emirates has finished enabling works and will now implement full infrastructure development, including roads, utilities, public spaces, and world-class amenities such as a swimmable forest lagoon.
Dubai-based Dewan Architects + Engineers acted as the design consultant for all four phases, completing the architectural and engineering design scope. Global architecture firm CRTKL delivered the master plan concept and design, while Parsons Overseas Limited managed infrastructure design and supervision. DAR has been appointed to provide comprehensive supervision consultancy services until the 2028 completion target.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, highlighted that Masaar 2 is poised to become “one of the fastest community completions in the UAE”, progressing from sales launch in early 2025 to full handover by mid-2028. He underlined Arada’s dedication to punctual delivery and high-quality standards as the company continues to develop some of the UAE’s most sought-after residential communities.
Launched in February 2025, Masaar 2 sold out within hours, generating AED5.6 billion in transactions and demonstrating strong investor confidence in Sharjah’s vibrant property market. The nature-focused community features 40,000 trees, a central green corridor, and wellness-oriented facilities.
In September, Arada launched Masaar 3, the largest masterplan in the series, offering 4,000 homes across eight phases. The original Masaar masterplan comprises 3,000 homes within 19 million square feet of forested landscapes. Half of the community has already been handed over, with completion expected by the end of 2026.
