Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the technology enhances the visitor experience and positions Dubai as a leading global destination. Helal Saeed Almarri, DET Director General, highlighted its role in boosting tourism and demonstrating public-private collaboration.
The system can integrate with hotel apps and has potential for expansion to other services like car rentals, complementing Dubai’s smart city initiatives and improving visitor convenience.
With 820 hotels, Dubai welcomed 15.7 million international visitors in the first ten months of 2025, spending 36.71 million room nights. The contactless check-in marks a key step in enhancing global hospitality standards.
