Sharjah24-WAM: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast that the UAE will be affected by unstable weather from Sunday through Wednesday, 8 January, with varying impacts across the country.

According to the NCM, weather conditions will fluctuate between dusty and partly cloudy skies, with fog or mist likely, particularly during the morning hours over inland and coastal areas. Wind activity is expected to intensify at times, especially over coastal and marine areas, leading to rough to very rough sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf on Sunday.

Chance of light rainfall

From Monday onwards, the country may experience low cloud over eastern and northern regions, with a possibility of light rainfall, particularly in the far north. Temperatures are expected to decrease gradually, most noticeably over western and northern areas.

Winds remain active

Winds will shift between southwesterly, northwesterly, and northeasterly directions during the period, ranging from light to moderate and becoming active at times. Wind speeds may reach 50 km/h on Sunday, causing blowing dust and reduced visibility in some areas.
