Gold rises more than 1% Monday

Sharjah24 - WAM: Gold prices climbed by more than 1 percent on Monday, while other precious metals also posted solid gains across the board.

Gold hits one-week high

By 01:19 GMT, spot gold had risen 1.5 percent to $4,395.35 per ounce, marking its highest level in more than a week. Bullion previously reached a record high of $4,549.71 on December 26, 2025.

US gold futures advance

US gold futures for February delivery strengthened by 1.8 percent, trading at $4,405.40.

Silver extends strong rally

Spot silver surged 4.5 percent to $75.86 per ounce, continuing its strong performance after touching an all-time high of $83.62 on December 29.

Platinum remains elevated

Spot platinum gained 1.5 percent to $2,175.15 per ounce, after rising to a record peak of $2,478.50 last Monday.

Palladium records modest gain

Palladium edged 0.4 percent higher to $1,645.0 per ounce, adding to the broader upswing seen across precious metals markets.
