Moving beyond communication methods
The visit reflects the Council's commitment to moving beyond traditional communication methods and fostering genuine and effective partnerships with the local community and its institutions, ultimately serving the educational process in the region.
During the visit, the Council delegation met with Department staff and a group of parents, engaging in friendly conversations and discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides to support families and students.
The Council expressed its sincere gratitude and appreciation for the significant efforts made by SSSD in serving the community. It commended the Department's prominent humanitarian and social role, particularly its exceptional care for the elderly, emphasising that this cherished segment of society deserves all support and attention. This aligns with the Council's objectives and community programmes, which place serving these groups at the heart of its priorities.
Strategic partnerships
During the meeting, the council emphasised the importance of establishing a strategic partnership between educational institutions (represented by the councils) and government service institutions, noting that the council and the department are key partners serving the local community in the central region, and the integration of their roles that positively impacts family stability, which is a fundamental pillar for student success and academic excellence.
The "Tawasul" (communication) initiative aims to expand the council's community outreach and reinforce its role as an effective link, not only within schools and homes, but also in various spheres where parents are present, to ensure continuous and effective monitoring of students' affairs in all aspects.
