Al Wasl loses to Al Zawraa in the AFC Champions League 2

The second leg, scheduled for next week at Zabeel Stadium.

Al Wasl took the lead through Michel Borja in the 5th minute, but Ali Jamous equalized for Al Zawraa in the 47th minute. Borja then put Al Wasl ahead again in the 65th minute, only for Al Zawraa to level the score once more through Brian Riascos in the 68th minute. Riascos then scored his second goal of the match in the 76th minute to secure the victory for Al Wasl.
