Sharjah 24: Shabab Al Ahli continued their pursuit of league leaders Al Ain by defeating Al Wasl 3-1 at Rashid Stadium in a postponed match from the ninth round of the ADNOC Pro League.

Match highlights

Shabab Al Ahli took control after halftime, with goals from Yuri Cesar in the 49th and 68th minutes and Mohammed Al Mansouri in the 88th minute. Al Wasl had briefly taken the lead through Ali Saleh in the 44th minute, but the hosts quickly turned the game around.

Standings impact

With this victory, Shabab Al Ahli moved to 26 points, solidifying their position in second place. Al Wasl remains in fourth with 22 points.
