Lights Festival lights up the pearl of the East Coast

Sharjah 24: The 15th edition of the Sharjah Light Festival, organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, is being held in Sharjah and is distinguished by its 3D light and art displays that transform historical and natural sites into vibrant visual spectacles.

The festival will run until February 15, 2026.

The Khorfakkan Waterfall features a beautiful sight with water flowing over rocks, forming streams that sparkle like stars, and images of old merchant ships, pearl divers, and travelers along the coast, narrating the city's history as a trading port.

Al Rafisah Dam is illuminated with light displays representing a rock of history and a mirror of identity. These displays evoke elements of the ancient landscape of Al Faya, including limestone formations, desert, water, and stone tools, creating a vibrant scene that reflects the place's heritage and preserves Emirati identity for generations.

The event occurs every day from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, and on weekends, the performance times are extended until midnight, with each show running for ten minutes.
