Sharjah 24: Chelsea missed the chance to cut the gap to just one point behind third-placed Aston Villa in the Premier League, drawing 2-2 with Leeds United at Stamford Bridge in the 26th round.

Failure to secure fifth consecutive league victory under Rosenior

The London side took the lead through goals from Brazilian João Pedro (24') and Cole Palmer (58', penalty), but Leeds fought back with a penalty from German Lukasz Nmecha (67') and a strike from substitute Noah Okafor (73').

Chelsea failed to secure their fifth consecutive league win under new manager Liam Rosenior, settling for a draw that leaves them with 44 points in fourth place, three behind third-placed Aston Villa, who have 47 points.

In contrast, Leeds moved to 30 points, sitting in fifteenth place.
