The decision reflects the Ruler of Ajman’s commitment to providing a flexible work environment that recognises the special nature of Ramadan and supports employee wellbeing, thereby positively impacting productivity and institutional performance.
In this context, the department issued a circular to government entities setting official working hours from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. On Fridays, working hours will be 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, with all duties carried out remotely.
The department noted that the initiative is part of the Ajman Government’s approach to developing flexible and sustainable work policies that enhance performance efficiency, align with best practices in human resource empowerment and achieve a balance between professional and family life.
