RAK Ruler receives EU ambassadors' delegation

His Highness welcomed the ambassadors, affirming Ras Al Khaimah’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and friendship with EU countries across a range of sectors. He highlighted the continued growth of relations, particularly in priority areas of mutual interest, including sustainable tourism, advanced manufacturing and renewable energy.

Focus on international partnerships

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah emphasised the emirate’s strong commitment to strengthening international relations, noting that cooperation with the European Union is among its top priorities. He highlighted the bloc’s leading role in supporting economic, cultural and technological development, attracting foreign investment and strengthening the emirate’s advanced business environment, in line with its vision for sustainable development.

He said the emirate’s vision is built on solid partnerships founded on mutual respect and shared ambition, adding that strengthening international relations will help secure a prosperous future for Ras Al Khaimah’s people and contribute to global dialogues on progress, stability and sustainability.

For their part, the ambassadors of the European Union member states expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and commended the strength of relations between the UAE and EU countries. They also praised the comprehensive development in Ras Al Khaimah across various sectors and affirmed their countries’ keenness to further strengthen cooperation in ways that serve mutual interests.
