It also makes use of the Ramadan season to reinforce educational and character-building principles through sport.
Teams named after Sharjah landmarks
This year’s edition introduces an innovative idea, with participating teams named after tourist and cultural landmarks in the Emirate of Sharjah. The initiative aims to familiarise young players with their city’s history and attractions, while strengthening their sense of belonging.
Month-long competition ahead
The championship is expected to feature strong and entertaining matches, supported by excellent organisation and enthusiastic crowds. Games will continue throughout the holy month, culminating in the final and the crowning of the winners.
