Sharjah24 - AFP: Iran’s state broadcaster said there were explosions close to its headquarters in Tehran during overnight strikes by Israeli and US forces, but added that the incidents had not interrupted its television and radio broadcasts. In a post on Telegram, the broadcaster said smoke was seen around the building but regular operations remained unaffected.
Israeli military statements earlier claimed it had hit and dismantled the broadcaster’s facilities in the northern Evin district of the capital, which it labelled a communications hub for Tehran. This came amid ongoing regional hostilities as US and Israeli actions escalated tensions with Iran.a
