Strengthening bilateral cooperation

During the meeting, the two sides discussed avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Italy across various sectors, including economic, trade, and investment fields. They also reviewed collaboration in renewable energy, innovation, and advanced technology, aiming to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries and support their shared aspirations for a more prosperous and sustainable future.

Discussing regional and international developments

The two ministers also reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East following the Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and another sisterly and friendly country. They stressed the importance of strengthening joint efforts to support regional security and stability, and of promoting peaceful solutions to conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means.

UAE–Italy relations witness accelerated growth

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed affirmed that UAE–Italian relations are witnessing accelerated growth, reflecting the deep historical ties between the two countries and their shared commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple fields.

UAE committed to strengthening global partnerships

His Highness noted that the UAE places special importance on strengthening partnerships with friendly countries, particularly Italy, in a way that supports sustainable development and enhances stability and prosperity at both regional and international levels.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State, and Abdullah Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Affairs.
