Faisal Khalid Al Nabouda, the director of marketing and public relations at the cooperative, said the organisation has ensured that essential goods remain widely available for shoppers throughout the period.
Al Nabouda told “Sharjah 24” that Ramadan sales are still going on for many basic items, like sugar, flour, and rice. These are the kinds of foods that families usually have for iftar during the month.
He said that food supply chains are still stable, which means that products will keep coming to markets. He also said that the United Arab Emirates has strong strategic reserves of important goods, which helps keep the market stable and meet the needs of the people.
Al Nabouda also said that Ramadan is a time when people come together and give to others. He praised the country's leaders for making food security stronger and making sure that people can still get the things they need at stores all over the country.
