Sharjah Police explained that the action followed a series of firm measures targeting motorists whose behaviour caused disruption for residents and posed a risk to public safety. Intensive field operations, launched from day one, recorded 52 traffic violations linked to dangerous driving, excessive noise, and nuisances on public roads and in neighbourhoods.
Brigadier Staff Omar Al Ghazal Al Shamsi, Director-General of the General Directorate of Operations and Security Support at SP, said the results were achieved through a comprehensive plan aimed at curbing negative driving behaviour. He noted that the swift response to public complaints, alongside the immediate monitoring of violations and impounding of vehicles, reflected the force’s high level of readiness and effective coordination on the ground.
He also noted that SP will keep enforcing strict rules and will not put up with any behaviour that puts public safety or community health at risk. Monitoring campaigns.
