Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police announced a comprehensive security plan in preparation for the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan (Laylat al-Qadr) and to welcome Eid Al-Fitr, as part of its dedication to enhancing security and public safety.

The plan is to create a safer, more connected community by increasing patrols on main roads, at busy intersections, and in vital locations, and by strengthening the presence around mosques, markets, and shopping centres.

Brigadier General Omar Al Ghazal Al Shamsi, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support, indicated that the detailed security and traffic plan falls within Sharjah Police's proactive approach to enhancing security readiness during seasons and events. The field teams will provide the highest levels of security and safety. In addition, the Police will collaborate with government entities to ensure the plan's success.

Al Shamsi stressed that enhancing security and safety is a shared responsibility that requires the cooperation of community members with the police, through adherence to traffic guidelines and instructions, and the necessity of monitoring children and their behavior.

He also urged members of the community not to hesitate to call 901 for non-emergency reports and inquiries, and 999 for emergencies.
