Khorfakkan boosts readiness for unstable weather

Sharjah 24: Khorfakkan Municipality has stepped up preparations to tackle adverse weather conditions by deploying teams and equipment across key locations to ensure rapid response and public safety.

Field teams on high alert

Khalid Ali Al Naour Al Naqbi, Head of the Crisis, Emergency, and Rain Committee, said field teams have been stationed in areas most likely to be affected and are working around the clock. He highlighted ongoing coordination with relevant authorities to respond effectively to any developments.

Equipment deployed across the city

The municipality has distributed 19 water pumps and 10 tankers across various areas to manage rainwater accumulation, aiming to minimise disruptions and maintain normal conditions.

Ongoing monitoring and commitment

Al Naqbi stressed continuous monitoring of the situation and the implementation of necessary safety measures. He reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to handling the weather efficiently while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.
