Sharjah 24: The 43rd edition of the Ramadan Nights exhibition concluded yesterday, Sunday, following 13 days of shopping promotions and family-friendly entertainment experiences, as part of the 36th Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2026.

Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition drew over thousands of visitors who took advantage of substantial promotional offers and discounts of up to 75 percent across a wide range of products.

This year’s edition coincided with the UAE’s ‘Year of Family’, offering an appealing environment for families to enjoy the spiritual ambience of the holy month and the vibrant festive atmosphere of Eid Al-Fitr. Spanning more than 18,000 square metres, the exhibition ran from March 10 to 22. It featured more than 210 exhibitors representing major retailers and distributors alongside 700 leading international and local brands.

Products on display covered fashion, textiles, sportswear, perfumes, cosmetics and healthcare, as well as electrical appliances, home furnishings, and interior décor. Food items, sweets and beverages, jewellery, flowers, children’s toys, stationery, and sports equipment were also available, making the exhibition a one-stop destination for Ramadan and Eid shopping.

Ramadan Nights 2026 generated sales that surpassed the expectations of participating exhibitors and contributed to strengthening retail activity through an extensive portfolio of promotional campaigns and engaging entertainment programmes.

The "Iftar Corner" served a wide selection of delectable local, regional, and international cuisines, including signature oriental desserts and traditional Ramadan dishes. The Children’s Corner was expanded this year with a larger space and a broader variety of games, complemented by creative educational activities aimed at developing children’s skills. The exhibition also allocated dedicated spaces for young entrepreneurs and emerging brands, supporting innovation and new market entrants.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that the Ramadan Nights exhibition is a well-established annual commercial platform that reflects the joint institutional commitment between Expo Centre Sharjah and the Sharjah Chamber to deliver high-impact economic and social initiatives.

He explained that the exhibition supports exhibitors, stimulates retail markets, and enhances community engagement by providing a family-oriented environment that reflects the social values of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Midfa added that Ramadan Nights’ success forms part of a comprehensive marketing and economic strategy designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors while positioning the exhibition as an integrated destination combining shopping, entertainment, and cultural heritage.

The exhibition’s Heritage Village attracted strong visitor turnout, offering a glimpse into authentic Emirati traditions and the spiritual essence of the holy month of Ramadan in a unique cultural experience aligned with the “Year of the Family.” It also featured traditional folk performances, cultural competitions, and a range of Ramadan evening events that enriched the visitor experience.

Displays by productive families and small enterprises drew strong interest from local residents and tourists alike. Visitors explored traditional cuisine, dates, and Arabic coffee, and purchased heritage products including traditional garments, handmade crafts, palm-frond items, authentic Arabian incense and perfumes, antique coins, and traditional marine fishing tools.

Attendees also engaged in raffles and open competitions, competing for valuable prizes during the exhibition period.
