UAE expects temperature drop, rain chances midweek ahead

Sharjah24-WAM: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast weather fluctuations across the UAE in the coming days, starting with a noticeable drop in temperatures on Saturday, followed by relative stability before rain chances return mid-week and into early April.

Saturday’s weather is forecasted to be humid in the morning over certain inland areas, with partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Northwesterly winds will be light to moderate, reaching up to 40 km/h, occasionally raising dust, while seas will be rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Stable weather through Sunday and Monday

On Sunday, conditions will be fair to partly cloudy, with similar northwesterly winds and moderate to rough seas. Monday will remain fair to partly cloudy, with clouds appearing overnight over western areas and islands, along with continued dusty winds.

Rain chances return midweek

Cloud cover will increase on Tuesday, bringing a chance of light to moderate rainfall across scattered areas, along with a slight rise in temperatures and variable winds.

On Wednesday, partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will continue, with chances of light to moderate rain that may turn heavy at times in northern and eastern regions. Temperatures are expected to fall again, especially in western areas.

Winds will become active and strong at times, especially over the sea, reaching up to 45 km/h, with rough to very rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough seas in the Oman Sea.
