Speaking during the 165th session of the Arab League Council held via videoconference, the minister stated that the attacks had caused casualties and posed risks to civilians, residential areas, and vital infrastructure.
He emphasised the increase in attacks carried out by Iranian-aligned militias using missiles and drones, as well as efforts to weaken internal security through alleged terrorist cells connected to Hezbollah.
The minister emphasised that the situation reflects a broader pattern of regional destabilisation, calling for a firm international stance and deterrent measures to safeguard peace and security. He added that such actions cannot be justified, and accused Iran of attempting to obscure facts through misleading narratives.
He also called for a thorough reorganisation of the Arab League to improve decision-making efficiency and reinforce its role in tackling regional challenges.
The minister stressed the importance of involving regional countries in future negotiations with Iran to ensure stability and security throughout the region.
