Sharjah24: The UAE Ministry of Defence announced that UAE air defence systems have been actively responding since midnight on 30–31 March 2026, to missile and UAV attacks launched from Iran.
The Ministry confirmed that the sounds heard across different parts of the country are due to interception operations targeting ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Ministry emphasised that air defence systems are functioning effectively to counter threats and protect the country’s security and stability, within a framework of ongoing readiness to respond to any developments.
