Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi continues tour of Sharjah clubs

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, pressed on with his tour of the emirate's clubs on Wednesday, 8th April, visiting Al Madam, Maleha, and Al Dhaid clubs. He met with the chairmen and board members of each club, going over their future plans and programmes, discussing the challenges that lie ahead, and seeing the state of their facilities and how things are running day to day.

Commitment to Development and Excellence

The visits conveyed a clear message: a steadfast commitment to continuous development, elevating both administrative and sporting performance, and ensuring Sharjah's clubs remain competitive domestically and well-represented internationally.

Delegation Members Accompany the Chairman

Accompanying Sheikh Dr Khalid throughout the tour were Dr Abdullah bin Sultan, Vice Chairman of the Council's Board; fellow board members; Mohammed Obaid Al Hosan, Secretary General of the Council and Director of the Communications Department; and the Council's Head of Public Relations.

Visits to individual clubs

Al Madam Sports and Cultural Club

The delegation was welcomed by Sultan Mohammed Maadhed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, chairman of the board, along with the club's board members.

Mleiha Sports and Cultural Club

The delegation was welcomed by Mohammed Sultan Khasouni Al Ketbi, the Board Chairman, and Abdullah Salem Khasouni Al Ketbi, the Vice Chairman, along with other members of the club's board.

Al Dhaid Sports and Cultural Club

The delegation was received by Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, the board chairman, along with the board members and the club's executive director.

Appreciation from clubs

At the end of each visit, club officials expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the council's chairman, reiterating their commitment to collaborate closely with the council and maintain open lines of communication in pursuit of their common goals and aspirations.
