Sharjah24 - WAM: The Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemned the shooting incident at a school in central Türkiye, which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
In a statement issued today, the Council expressed its firm rejection of such criminal acts, stressing that they contradict the tolerant teachings of Islam, as well as all divine religions, international laws, and humanitarian values. It called for promoting a culture of tolerance and reinforcing the values of coexistence and peace.
The Council extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Republic of Türkiye, both its government and people, praying for a swift recovery for the injured.
