Mauritania backs UAE after security forces dismantle terror cell

In a statement carried by the Mauritanian News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad commended the UAE authorities for their vigilance and professionalism, noting that the speed and precision of the operation reflected a high level of preparedness and coordination.

The ministry said Mauritania stands fully alongside the UAE in safeguarding its security and stability, describing that support as steadfast. It also reiterated the country’s clear rejection of terrorism in all its forms and its continued commitment to working with partners to counter extremism and strengthen regional security.
