Sheikh Hamdan made the remarks during a visit to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), accompanied by Abdulla Al Basti, where he reviewed the safe return of in-person learning across Dubai’s private education sector.
More than 150,000 students have returned to over 450 educational institutions operating under strong health and safety measures.
Sheikh Hamdan praised KHDA, educators, parents, and the wider education community for their efforts in maintaining high-quality learning environments. He highlighted the continued role of teachers in supporting student development under all circumstances.
He was briefed on the progress of Dubai’s Education 33 (E33) Strategy by Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director General of KHDA, including initiatives aimed at building a future-ready, learner-centred education system from early education to higher studies.
The strategy includes 20 initiatives focused on strengthening Arabic language, Emirati culture, parental engagement, and student life skills.
Sheikh Hamdan also met members of the Dubai Students Council, reviewing initiatives that amplify student voices and participation in shaping education.
Key programmes under E33 include “All Rise and Teach in Dubai” to attract educators and “Future Astrolabe” to guide students in career planning, reinforcing lifelong learning and preparing a generation equipped for future challenges.
