Soldiers' sacrifices show loyalty, protect nation’s sovereignty

Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee, celebrating the UAE Armed Forces Unification, affirmed that the decision made 50 years ago marked a pivotal turning point in the country’s journey.

His Highness said “It has strengthened the Union and enhanced its unity and stability. Since its inception, the Armed Forces have safeguarded the nation and supported the comprehensive development process. They have become a fundamental milestone and preserved the success of the nation, grounded in the vision of wise leadership that recognizes the strength of the nation lies in its unity and cohesion."

His Highness added: “We are proud of this nation’s brave soldiers’ sacrifices, who gave their lives to keep the homeland safe. We commend the readiness and advanced efficiency of our armed forces, reflecting professionalism and discipline. We value their confrontation of all threats to the nation, its citizens, and residents, guaranteeing they remain the nation’s impregnable shield. Their sacrifices exemplify loyalty, giving their lives in protecting the nation and its sovereignty, thus reflecting allegiance and selflessness for its progress and prosperity.”
