Sharjah24 - WAM: Oil prices recorded a sharp increase on Monday, rising by around 6%.

Benchmark crude gains

The international benchmark, Brent Crude, climbed by $6.27, or 5.8%, closing at $114.44 per barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose by $4.48, or 4.4%, settling at $106.42 per barrel.
