UAE concludes “Humaid Air Bridge” with final Gaza aid flight

Sharjah 24 – WAM: As part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the final aircraft of the UAE’s “Humaid Air Bridge” arrived at El Arish International Airport carrying 100 tons of food aid and more than 3,200 food parcels. The shipment forms part of the UAE’s continued humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and alleviate their suffering.

Completion of nearly two-month air bridge operation

With the arrival of this flight, the “Humaid Air Bridge” operation, which lasted nearly two months, has concluded, bringing the total air-delivered aid to around 600 tons of relief and food supplies. This reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to providing urgent humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.

Receiving and transferring aid to Gaza

Upon arrival, the UAE humanitarian team in Al Arish received the aircraft and transferred the shipment to the UAE logistics centre. The aid is being prepared for entry into the Gaza Strip in accordance with established procedures to ensure rapid delivery to affected families and to meet their essential needs.

Humanitarian initiative under UAE relief efforts

The “Humaid Air Bridge” is one of the humanitarian initiatives launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, in cooperation with “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” aimed at delivering urgent food assistance to Gaza through coordinated airlifts to El Arish.

Since its launch, “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” has continued to provide comprehensive humanitarian support to the Palestinian people through air, land, and sea routes, delivering food, medical, and relief assistance, along with various health and service initiatives, reflecting the UAE’s consistent approach of supporting communities in times of crisis.
