Sharjah24/WAM: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a phone call today, Saturday, from Joseph Aoun, President of Lebanon, during which he reiterated the condemnation of terrorist Iranian attacks targeting civilians and civilian facilities in the UAE, affirming Lebanon’s solidarity with the UAE regarding all measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty and ensure the safety of its territory, citizens, and residents.
Bilateral relations and cooperation
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Lebanese counterpart discussed fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation, particularly development cooperation, and their shared commitment to further supporting and advancing it in a way that promotes growth and prosperity for both brotherly peoples.
Lebanon’s stability and appreciation
The call also addressed developments in Lebanon and ongoing efforts to strengthen security and stability there. President Joseph Aoun praised the UAE’s sincere fraternal positions in support of Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the aspirations of its people for security and stability.

The discussion further covered recent developments in the Middle East, with both sides stressing the importance of strengthening stability and security and advancing peace efforts in the region for the benefit of all its peoples and the development and prosperity of their countries.
