The renewed agreement aims to strengthen joint efforts to support the growth and development of football in the United Arab Emirates and to reinforce connections between clubs, fans and local communities.
The extension was announced at Al Ain FC's championship ceremony following their 2025-2026 league title victory at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
The event was attended by Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, alongside Abdulla Nasser Al Jneibi, Chairman of the UAE Pro League and First Vice President of the UAE Football Association.
The agreement was signed by Saif Al Falahi, Acting Head of Human Capital, National Identity and Corporate Support at ADNOC, and by Musab Al Marzooqi, Chief Executive Officer of the UAE Pro League.
The partnership between ADNOC and the UAE Pro League began in the 2021-2022 season, when the league was officially renamed the ADNOC Pro League.
Saif Al Falahi said the renewal reflects ADNOC’s commitment to supporting young Emirati sporting talent, strengthening community engagement and encouraging healthier lifestyles across society.
For his part, Musab Al Marzooqi expressed pride in extending the partnership, describing ADNOC as a strategic partner that contributes to the continued development of professional football in the UAE.
During the next phase of the partnership, ADNOC will support initiatives to bring football closer to communities across the country, including youth participation programmes, grassroots football development, fan engagement activities, and campaigns promoting sport, wellbeing and active lifestyles.
