Sharjah 24: In a gesture reflecting the commitment of sports administrations to nurturing talent and celebrating achievers, His Excellency Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, honoured the club’s archery team athlete and champion, Saeed Tamrouq, in recognition of his impressive performances and exceptional achievements during the current sporting season at both local and regional levels.

Gulf silver and UAE title success

The recognition came following a series of remarkable accomplishments achieved by Al Dhahouri, most notably securing second place and the silver medal at the 4th Gulf Olympic Games, hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, in December 2025. He also claimed top spot domestically by winning first place in the UAE Archery League, further cementing his status and strong presence as one of the region’s leading archers.

Praise for dedication and commitment

During the honouring ceremony, Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa praised the athlete’s outstanding contribution and tremendous effort, commending his unwavering commitment, which directly contributed to raising Dibba Al Hisn Club’s profile at major sporting events. He wished him continued success and more gold medals in future competitions.

Pride in continued development

The ceremony was attended by Abdullah Al Watri, Chairman of the Club’s Individual Sports and Talent Development Committee, in addition to the champion’s coach, Issam Nashaat. Both expressed great pride in the honourable results achieved by Al Dhahouri, stressing that this excellence reflects the scale of organised work and ongoing development within the club’s individual sports system and archery team.
