Sharjah 24 – SPA: Saudi Arabia confirmed on Thursday that the Dhul Hijjah crescent was sighted, marking the start of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. Accordingly, Eid Al Adha will be observed on June 16, with Arafat Day on June 15. The Kingdom’s Supreme Court had earlier issued a statement urging residents to sight the moon on the evening of June 6.
