Sharjah 24: The University of Sharjah (UOS), represented by its Alumni Association, organised its annual Alumni Recruitment Open Day, in the presence of Professor Dr Issam Al Din Ajami, Chancellor of the University. The event saw wide participation from over 50 government institutions and private companies, which announced a range of job and training opportunities for the university's students and graduates across various disciplines.

Enhancing graduate employment prospects

The event included direct job interviews between graduates and representatives from participating organisations, enhancing graduate employment prospects and enabling them to showcase their skills and professional capabilities in a realistic, interactive environment. The event also featured a series of workshops focusing on resume writing skills, interview preparation, and understanding the demands of the current job market.

Many university graduates expressed their appreciation for the Alumni Association's role in fostering communication with them and providing opportunities to meet with institutions and organisations seeking to attract national talent.

Preparing graduates for the job market

The event concluded with an awards ceremony honouring the participating organisations in recognition of their efforts in supporting graduates and strengthening professional partnerships with the university.

The forum was organised as part of the University of Sharjah's commitment to supporting its graduates and preparing them for the job market, as well as strengthening cooperation with various sectors in line with its vision of developing highly qualified graduates capable of competing and achieving excellence in diverse fields.
