He highlighted that this visit marks the first time he has led a Serbian delegation to the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, describing it as “a fresh start” for bilateral economic relations.
His Excellency Vesović highlighted the stability of political and economic relations between the two nations but noted that greater potential remains unexplored. He urged for increased participation of UAE businesspeople in Serbian events, including agricultural and technological fairs. He also emphasised the importance of cooperation in agriculture, advanced technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—the construction sector, and real estate.
Serbia is preparing to host a major international Expo in Belgrade on 27 November, which Vesović described as one of the most significant events in the country’s history. He announced that a UAE delegation is expected to visit Belgrade on 26 November, followed by one of the largest Emirati business delegations arriving on 27 November to explore new investment opportunities and advance joint economic initiatives.
His Excellency Vesović affirmed that both sides are committed to transforming discussions into tangible results. He noted that Serbia’s focus remains on four key sectors: technology, services, agriculture, and machinery, all of which offer promising opportunities for Emirati–Serbian collaboration. The forum served as a platform to reinforce dialogue and foster partnerships that support sustainable economic growth for both nations.
