The exhibition saw strong participation from leading local and international companies specialising in hunting, equestrian activities, and related sectors. Organised by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon, in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers Club, the event serves as a global platform combining authentic Emirati heritage with innovation in traditional sports and modern technologies.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak was accompanied by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, who briefed him on key exhibitors, the latest equipment, technologies, and innovations showcased across hunting, equestrian activities, and camping.
During his visit, Sheikh Nahyan met officials and decision-makers from participating local and international companies, emphasising the role of such events in strengthening Al Ain as a growing tourist, cultural, and heritage destination, particularly following its designation as the Gulf Tourism Capital for 2025.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak commented:
"The inaugural edition of the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is an exceptional event that reflects the UAE’s vision of combining authenticity and innovation. It embodies our deep commitment to preserving our rich cultural heritage, while also supporting modern technologies and sustainable practices. This exhibition is not merely a platform for showcasing products and services; it is a space for cultural exchange and knowledge sharing, reinforcing the values of tolerance and coexistence upon which our nation is founded."
He added that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE continues to safeguard national heritage, promote national identity, and support innovation and sustainability, positioning culture and heritage as bridges for dialogue, cooperation, and international partnerships.
The first edition hosted 873 exhibitors and brands from 12 countries across 24,000 square metres, with 88% local and 12% international participation. The exhibition included more than 20 live shows and heritage competitions, such as traditional cooking contests, Arabic coffee workshops, and Al Yola performances, celebrating authenticity and community engagement.
The event reflects the UAE’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage, promoting innovation in sustainable hunting, equestrian practices, and environmental protection. The exhibition bridges the past with the future, positioning Al Ain as a hub for knowledge exchange, cultural collaboration, and sustainable community development at both local and international levels.
