Dibba Al Hisn holds “Security Awareness” workshop

Sharjah 24: Dibba Al-Hisn Club recently held a training workshop called “Security Awareness” in collaboration with the Community Protection and Prevention Department. The session was led by Assistant Officer Khalifa Mohammed Tamrouq Al-Dhahouri and aimed to create a strong safety culture among players, staff, and administrators. The goal is to better prepare everyone to handle potential risks at work and improve their skills in spotting threats and responding quickly in emergencies.

This workshop is part of a series of training sessions the club is offering to make the workplace safer and ensure that everyone is aware and ready for any situation that may arise. The club is dedicated to enhancing security and safety across all its activities and facilities.

The event attracted a wide range of participants, including employees, coaches, and staff from different departments. Notable attendees included the club’s director, Mohammed Khalifa Al-Nuaimi, and cultural committee member Mohammed Rashid Rashoud. The workshop covered important topics related to security, such as how to protect personal and company property, recognize unusual behavior, and follow the correct procedures for reporting security concerns.

Participants also took part in hands-on exercises and realistic scenarios, allowing them to practice security skills and learn how to respond effectively in emergencies.

The instructor highlighted that security is a shared responsibility. Everyone—employees and citizens alike—should be aware of how to protect themselves and their surroundings to help maintain safety and stability in the community.
