Sharjah 24 – WAM: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that Thursday, 1st January 2026, will be an official paid holiday for all private-sector employees in the UAE on the occasion of the New Year.

The announcement follows a circular issued by MoHRE in implementation of the Cabinet decision regarding the approved official holidays for the public and private sectors.
