The route, operated using Air Arabia’s recently received Airbus A320neo aircraft, aims to provide passengers with greater flexibility, convenience, and affordability, supporting business, leisure, and cultural travel between the UAE and the Czech Republic.
A welcome ceremony was held upon arrival at Prague airport, attended by airport officials, local partners, and Air Arabia representatives, highlighting the importance of this direct connection and fostering closer ties between the two regions.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said: "We are delighted to commence our daily non-stop flights to Prague, a key European destination that reflects the growing demand for accessible and reliable air travel from the UAE. This route reflects our commitment to expanding our European network from Sharjah while supporting the growth of tourism, business, and cultural exchange between both countries."
Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Prague Airport, stated that the service strengthens connections with the Middle East and marks Air Arabia’s return to the Sharjah route after five years. He highlighted that the service also provides passengers with convenient access to connecting destinations in East Africa, India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur.
The new daily service complements Air Arabia’s European destinations from Sharjah, including Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, and Warsaw Modlin, giving travelers an increasingly wide choice of direct flights.
Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, offering value-added services such as SkyTime, a complementary in-flight streaming service, SkyCafe, its onboard menu, and Air Rewards, the airline’s generous loyalty program.
