Capelli named official sponsor of UAE national handball teams

Sharjah24: The UAE Handball Federation has signed a sponsorship agreement with global sports brand Capelli Sport to supply official apparel for the UAE national handball teams. The agreement is part of the Federation’s strategy to strengthen strategic partnerships and support the continued development of national teams in the coming phase.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at the National Olympic Committee's headquarters, attended by His Excellency Engineer Saud Ibrahim Saleh, President of the UAE Handball Federation; Robert Bou Dagher, Sales Director for the Middle East, North Africa and Gulf region at Capelli; Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Vice President of the Federation’s Board; and Dr. Mona Ibrahim Al Raeesi, Chairperson of the Media, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Investment Committees, alongside other officials.

Enhancing preparation for upcoming competitions

The press conference outlined the objectives of the agreement, under which Capelli will supply apparel and sports equipment for the national teams, meeting the highest international standards. The partnership aims to enhance technical preparation and boost readiness for upcoming regional and international competitions.

Officials highlight strategic value

Saud Ibrahim Saleh described the agreement as a milestone in the development of Emirati handball, reflecting international confidence in the Federation’s programmes. Robert Bou Dagher expressed Capelli’s pride in the partnership and affirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the national teams with high-quality products.
