Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, reviewed major strategic energy and water projects during a meeting with a delegation from the Department of Energy – Abu Dhabi (DoE), led by Dr Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, Chairman of the DoE.

Focus on future priorities and growth

The meeting examined the DoE’s strategic directions, priorities and upcoming plans aimed at improving the efficiency of energy and water services. Discussions also focused on strengthening operational readiness to support population growth and ongoing development in Al Ain Region, while enhancing service quality for residents, businesses and companies.

Emphasis on cooperation and efficiency

His Highness Sheikh Hazza stressed the importance of enhanced cooperation among all relevant entities to ensure the long-term efficiency and reliability of energy and water services, in line with international best practices and standards.

Advancing sustainability and innovation

He also highlighted the need to adopt advanced solutions and modern technologies in managing energy and water services to boost operational efficiency and keep pace with sector developments. This approach aligns with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to promote sustainability and the efficient use of resources.

DoE reaffirms commitment

The DoE delegation expressed appreciation for His Highness Sheikh Hazza’s continued support and interest in strategic projects across Al Ain Region. They reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with partners to enhance the sustainability and efficiency of the energy and water ecosystem, in support of community needs and comprehensive regional development.
