According to a report by London-based consultancy Omdia, global shipments of humanoid robots totalled an estimated 13,000 units in the year, with Chinese firms accounting for the largest share.
Shanghai-based AgiBot led the global market, achieving annual shipments exceeding 5,100 units. This performance secured the company a 39 per cent share of the worldwide humanoid robot market, making it the global leader in both shipment volume and market share.
It was followed by Hangzhou-based Unitree, which shipped around 4,200 units, and Shenzhen-based UBTECH, which shipped approximately 1,000 units.
While AgiBot and UBTECH focus mainly on commercial and industrial applications, Unitree’s humanoid robots are widely used in research, education, and consumer markets. Other Chinese manufacturers, alongside US firms such as Figure AI, Agility Robotics, and Tesla, reported lower shipment volumes, ranging from 150 to 500 units per company.
