Earthquake in Liuzhou leaves casualties and mass evacuation

Sharjah24 - WAM: Two people have died, while one person remains missing, and more than 7,000 people have been evacuated after a 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Liuzhou City in the Guangxi region of south-west China early on Monday.

Casualties and injuries

Authorities confirmed that four people were taken to hospital, with all reported injuries described as non-serious.

Railway authorities reported disruptions to transport services and said they are currently inspecting the safety of railway infrastructure and related lines following the earthquake.
