The project aims to provide 900,000 iftar meals within cities and areas of the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to 300,000 meals outside the country, reflecting the expansion of charitable giving and reinforcing the SCI's role in meeting the basic humanitarian needs of the most vulnerable groups during the month of fasting.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director of Sharjah Charity International (SCI), affirmed the association’s keenness to distribute iftar points at carefully selected locations across the Emirate of Sharjah, to ensure that meals reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries. This is in addition to distribution in 51 countries worldwide, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure that support reaches areas suffering from food insecurity and difficult living conditions.
