Sharjah 24: Dr Mohammed Abdullah bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Director of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI) in Al Dhaid, announced the launch of its annual Ramadan campaign, "Jood," which aims to raise AED 150 million to fund its charitable projects both within and outside the UAE. Of this amount, AED 7 million will be allocated to Al Dhaid for distribution to various charitable causes. He noted that 2,890 meals will be distributed daily across 14 strategic locations, including 3 main tents with a capacity of up to 300 fasting individuals each, in Al Dhaid, Mleiha, and Al Madam.

Dr Mohammed Abdullah bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Director of SCI in Al Dhaid, confirmed that the 2026 Ramadan campaign aims to raise AED 150 million, including AED 7 million from Al Dhaid branch, to be distributed to various charitable causes and delivered from generous donors to those in need.

2,890 meals daily across 14 strategic locations

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Ketbi explained that the charitable initiatives include distributing Iftar meals, Ramadan food baskets, and providing relief to those in need. He added that SCI's Al Dhaid branch distributes 2,890 meals daily across 14 strategic locations, including three main tents with a capacity of up to 300 fasting individuals each. The total cost of the Iftar project throughout Ramadan is approximately AED 1.19 million.

The Director of SCI in Al Dhaid expressed his gratitude to the donors for their contributions to this blessed campaign, praying that God Almighty accepts their good deeds.
