In this context, Dr Ahmed Ali Al Ali, Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and Performance at the department, stated that successfully passing the ISO benchmarking audit confirms the SEDD’s adherence to global quality standards. It also reflects the joint efforts and effective integration across various departments. The department ensures that its strategic plans are aligned with clear, measurable performance indicators, guaranteeing sustainable results that contribute to developing the work environment and elevating the quality of services provided to stakeholders.
Dr Al Ali added that the department continues to foster a culture of outstanding performance, develop measurement and analysis tools, and utilise audit results to support continuous improvement initiatives. This approach ensures optimal resource use and enhances institutional performance efficiency in the long term.
He also noted that the next phase will witness further development initiatives focusing on innovation, anticipating challenges, and improving the customer experience, in line with the department’s vision and mission to support sustainable economic development in the Emirate of Sharjah.
