SEDD successfully passes ISO benchmarking management audit

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has once again successfully completed the periodic follow-up audit for the 7070:2016 Benchmarking Management certification for 2026. According to the report issued by the evaluating company and the audit results, which demonstrated the department’s full compliance with the requirements of the management system aligned with the specified standard, it was recommended that the ISO certificate continue to be granted within the scope of application.

This achievement reflects the department’s commitment to enhancing institutional excellence, raising operational readiness, and ensuring the sustainability of improvement and development according to recognised international standards. In this context, Dr Ahmed Ali Al Ali, Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and Performance at the department, stated that successfully passing the ISO benchmarking audit confirms the SEDD’s adherence to global quality standards. It also reflects the joint efforts and effective integration across various departments. The department ensures that its strategic plans are aligned with clear, measurable performance indicators, guaranteeing sustainable results that contribute to developing the work environment and elevating the quality of services provided to stakeholders.
