Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Club signed a memorandum of understanding with the Sharjah Foundation to Support Pioneering Entrepreneurs (RUWAD) to strengthen joint cooperation and support a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the sports community.

The MoU was signed during a press conference held on Tuesday in the VIP lounge at the Sharjah Club, in the presence of Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Economic Development Department and Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, and Mohammed Jumaa Bin Hindi, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club.

The collaboration aims to form an alliance that would provide business opportunities for entrepreneurs to benefit from in the sports world, and organize events that highlight the importance of innovation and investment in the sports field.

Engineer Ibrahim Mohammed Al Jarwan, a board member of the Sharjah Sports Club and chairman of the Investment and Commercial Development Company, emphasized in his speech that signing the memorandum of understanding is a significant strategic step toward enhancing community partnerships and promoting sustainable development.

The head of the investment company emphasized their dedication to fostering this partnership and implementing its provisions effectively. They aim to achieve the partnership's objectives and create a successful model that integrates the sports sector with the entrepreneurship sector. The goal is for this collaboration to be fruitful and sustainable, fulfilling the aspirations of our wise leadership and contributing to the overall development process in Sharjah.

For her part, Professor Fatima Al Ali, Acting Director of RUWAD, affirmed that the alliance represents an important step in the foundation’s ongoing efforts to support entrepreneurs and open new marketing and investment opportunities in the sports sector.
