Mleiha Club clinches five medals in UAE Archery League

Sharjah 24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club concluded its participation in the fourth stage of the UAE Archery League, held in Abu Dhabi, with outstanding results that reaffirmed the club’s strong presence in the sport at the national level.

Strong performance

Ghaith Ali Al-Dosari secured the gold medal in the junior category after a strong performance and high-level competition, earning the club a well-deserved gold at the end of the championship.

The cadet team also achieved third place and the bronze medal (team), represented by Khalid Khalifa Al-Ketbi, Ali Al-Manaei, and Omar Abdulbasit, an achievement that reflects the team spirit and collective effort among the players.

In the individual competitions, Waleed Adam Omar achieved third place and the bronze medal in the cadet category (recurve bow), continuing the series of achievements attained by the club’s players during the championship.

Investing in training

Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, Board Member and Head of the Individual Games Committee, praised the outstanding performance of the athletes, emphasiaing that the results reflect the significant effort invested in training and the ongoing administrative and technical support. He noted that the club continues to work according to a clear development plan aimed at strengthening the presence of archery and achieving further successes in upcoming competitions.

Mleiha Club's tally at this stage reached four bronze medals, in addition to one gold medal, marking another achievement added to the club's record of sporting successes.
