The tournament was held at the club's swimming pool in Dibba Al-Hisn and featured 24 diverse races. Each swimmer was limited to participating in a maximum of two races to ensure fairness and allow a greater number of participants to compete, while also maintaining their physical well-being during Ramadan.
The tournament was attended by His Excellency Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Club, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Tarban, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, along with several members of the Board of Directors. They observed the competitions and praised the high level of technical skill and organisation.
Promoting physical health
Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa emphasised that this tournament is part of the club's Ramadan programmes, which aim to engage young people in beneficial activities that promote physical health and sportsmanship. He noted the club's commitment to providing a safe and stimulating environment for developing the abilities of children and youth.
At the conclusion of the tournament on Wednesday at the club's headquarters, the winners in the three categories were awarded medals and trophies amidst a joyful and celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of fair competition and community cohesion, values the club strives to cultivate through its various sporting events.
