Khorfakkan Fort hosts Ramadan event to support youth projects

Sharjah 24: Khorfakkan Fort, under the Sharjah Museums Authority, has organized a special Ramadan event in its inner courtyard, featuring a variety of youth projects. Bashayer Buhendi Al Mansouri, Assistant Curator of the Fort, highlighted that the event runs daily from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM until March 8, offering a vibrant Ramadan atmosphere for young visitors, supporting youth initiatives, and providing guided tours to enrich the cultural and intellectual experience.

Youth projects on display

The event brings together several youth-focused projects, including The Yard Café, a gathering space for young people; Bloom Kozma, a venue for girls; and Ondo Studio, which specializes in instant photography. The activities are designed to reflect the spirit of the holy month while engaging participants in creative and cultural experiences.

Cultural and educational experience

Al Mansouri explained that the event not only provides an enjoyable Ramadan environment but also includes a cultural and educational component. Visitors can take guided tours that highlight the fort’s historical content and heritage, deepening their understanding of the site’s significance.

Event duration and invitation

The Ramadan event will continue for ten days, concluding on Sunday, March 8. The Fort invites the public to visit, experience the unique Ramadan ambiance, and explore the innovative youth projects on display.
